I thought I had made my last entry on this blog several years ago, but a recent trip reminded and drove home the point I was making in the last entry (http://a2baker.com/magnoliablog/?p=12821). A recent trip to France, 7 days of which on a chartered 40 foot canal boat (dubbed the Minnow). This was the first time we have been back on a boat in nearly 4 years and the first time we had taken an international trip with another couple. Boat wise Annette and I had handled the “Magnolias” for years and we quickly fell back into our comfortable groove.

Jack and I have been friends for nearly 45 years now and Kathy nearly as long. We have shared many adventures over the years and we all fell right back into our comfortable rhythm! I find myself amending the above title slightly, perhaps it way be more appropriate “Its not place, its shared experience.” We have shared so many blessed experiences and so very grateful for that has been given.
