Not living aboard gives us plenty of time to visualize how something is going to work. I spend days before getting\u00a0to the boat making diagrams and \u201cimagining\u201d how a cable, wire or in this case a hose is going to be routed. Sometimes having it worked out\u00a0 in your brain before hand can be a determent. Take the below example. Before I installed one valve or hose I \u201cknew\u201d how it was all going to go together. As you can see hose is bent this way and that way and routed here and there, all because I \u201cknew\u201d how it was going together. Granted the moment I looked at the below I was not happy, but it was right all because that is how I \u201cknew\u201d it would go together.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/a2baker.com\/magnoliablog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/20121229_133742.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"20121229_133742\" alt=\"20121229_133742\" src=\"http:\/\/a2baker.com\/magnoliablog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/20121229_133742.jpg\" width=\"629\" height=\"473\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/a2baker.com\/magnoliablog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Capture1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"Capture1\" alt=\"Capture1\" src=\"http:\/\/a2baker.com\/magnoliablog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Capture1.jpg\" width=\"645\" height=\"333\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a week away from the boat I came back and realized immediately if I swap the connections on the Y-Valve and slightly adjusted the mounting of the valves I would have a much much cleaner installation with less hose and less bend in the hose. So much happier I was finally able to get my eyes outside the tunnel!
